Around 15. I worked in a battery lab over summer holidays as part of an outreach scheme (shout out Nuffield Foundation) and the professor who I worked with really inspired me to take it further. It was also my first real taste of a lab and research which encouraged me to take Chemistry at University!

So I would HIGHLY recommend taking part in some work experience or an outreach scheme if one is available, and if not, ask your teachers and hopefully they will be able to help you find something 😀
