• Question: What did you want to be as a child?

      I can’t really remember! When I was really small, I probably wanted to be a princess! I think vet or doctor was also on the cards but I don’t think I could do either of those jobs now!

      As i child i liked to Tinker and Fiddle with things, so i always thought about science and each step by step following this direction has lead me to interesting and exciting things. I would have liked to explore the solar system and beyond if the technology was available.

      I wanted to be a fireman for a bit, then I wanted to be an archaeologist because I really enjoyed this TV show called ‘Time Team’. I’m not sure what appealed to me more though, the digging or the virtual reconstructions of old buildings they made and showed. After that I wanted to be a cameraman. It wasn’t until I was around 15/16 that I knew I wanted to go into science and engineering.
