I did GCSEs in maths, chemistry, biology, physics, art, history, german, english literature, english language, religious education.

My favourite subjects were art, chemistry, and history – they were all very different subjects so it was hard for me to decide what to do at university! I ended up doing chemistry but I still do lots of art in my spare time

When I did my GCSEs English Lit, English Language, Maths and IT were compulsory. I chose to do Triple Science so I had Physics, Chemistry and Biology as separate GCSEs. Then for my other options I chose PE, Spanish and Catering because I love baking.

There was no GSCES in China. While in a similar system, the main course that I took were Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English, Chinese literature.
